Connect with the wisdom of the Andes through a transformative Wachuma (San Pedro) Ceremony, guided by a traditional Andean shaman. This sacred plant medicine has been used for thousands of years for healing, spiritual awakening, and deep connection with nature. In a safe, natural environment outside of Cusco, you’ll embark on an inner journey to expand your consciousness, release emotional blockages, and reconnect with your heart and spirit. Ideal for those seeking clarity, peace, and healing.

The experience begins in the afternoon, when we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and travel to a peaceful retreat center located in the Sacred Valley or a quiet mountain setting outside the city. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the shaman (curandero), who will explain the ancestral use of Wachuma (San Pedro cactus) and guide you through an energetic cleansing ritual using incense, coca leaves, and traditional prayers.
At sunset, we begin the ceremonial preparation with a light meal and intention setting, followed by rest at the retreat center. Early the next morning, the Wachuma ceremony begins. The plant is ingested in liquid form, and over the course of the day, you’ll journey through deep introspection, emotional healing, and connection with the elements, guided by nature and the shaman. Activities may include meditation, silent walks, sound healing, and sharing circles.
As the effects slowly fade in the afternoon, we gather for a light meal and integration talk, before returning to Cusco in the early evening, around 6:00–7:00 p.m.
