Experience one of the most breathtaking trekking routes to Machu Picchu, combining nature, culture, and comfort. The Salkantay Trek with Sky Domes allows you to sleep beneath a starry sky in panoramic domes, enjoying stunning views of snow-capped peaks and Andean valleys. Over 4 days, you’ll traverse diverse landscapes—from glaciers and turquoise lagoons to cloud forests—culminating in a visit to the mystical Inca citadel.




Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa – Humantay Lagoon – Sky Domes
Early departure from Cusco to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), where we begin our hike to the spectacular Humantay Lagoon. After lunch, return to the camp for an overnight stay in our exclusive Sky Domes with views of the Salkantay snow peak.
Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass – Chaullay
After breakfast, hike to the Salkantay Pass (4,650 m / 15,255 ft), the highest point of the trek, with majestic views of the glacier. Descend toward Chaullay, passing through changing landscapes from high mountains to cloud forest. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 3: Chaullay – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes
Walk through the Santa Teresa Valley, passing coffee and tropical fruit plantations. Arrive at Hidroeléctrica for lunch, then continue on foot or by train to Aguas Calientes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
Early morning bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of approximately 2 hours. Free time to explore on your own before returning to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco.
