Experience a short but intense trekking adventure through two of the most breathtaking spots in the Vilcabamba mountain range: Humantay Lagoon and the Salkantay Pass (4,650 m / 15,255 ft). In just two days, you’ll enjoy high-Andean landscapes, glaciers, valleys, and turquoise waters—combining nature and adventure in the perfect format for those with limited time.




Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa – Humantay Lagoon – Soraypampa Camp
Early departure from Cusco to Mollepata for breakfast, then continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft). Begin a 1.5-hour hike to Humantay Lagoon, famous for its turquoise waters framed by towering glaciers. Return to Soraypampa for lunch, then enjoy a free afternoon to rest or explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the Soraypampa campsite.
Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass – Cusco
Early morning ascent to Salkantay Pass (4,650 m / 15,255 ft), the highest point of the route and one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Peru. From here, take in panoramic views of the Salkantay and Humantay peaks. Descend back to Soraypampa for lunch, then return to Cusco by private transport, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
