The Machu Picchu Full Day Tour is a perfect experience for travelers with limited time who want to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in just one day. Departing early from Cusco, this tour takes you on a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley by train and bus, leading to the majestic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. With a professional guide, you’ll explore the most iconic areas of this archaeological marvel and immerse yourself in its mystery and magic.

Your adventure starts early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco (between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.). We’ll drive to Ollantaytambo station, where you’ll board a tourist train (Expedition or Voyager class) to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival, a short bus ride takes you up the mountain to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll explore the citadel for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Visit the Temple of the Sun, the Main Plaza, the Intihuatana (Sun Clock), the Temple of the Three Windows, and more. Throughout the tour, you’ll learn about Inca architecture, engineering, and spirituality.
After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to take photos or grab lunch in Aguas Calientes (not included). In the afternoon, you’ll board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting to bring you back to Cusco, arriving around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m.
