The Cusco City Tour is the perfect introduction to the historic capital of the Inca Empire. This half-day experience combines impressive Inca architecture with colonial charm, giving you deep insight into Cusco’s rich past and vibrant culture. Explore sacred temples, stunning cathedrals, and ancient ruins—all within and around the city.

The tour begins with hotel pick-up in Cusco around 1:00 p.m. Our first stop is the Cathedral of Cusco, a masterpiece of colonial art located in the Plaza de Armas. Then, we walk to the nearby Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, once the most important religious site in the Inca Empire, later transformed by Spanish colonizers.
Afterward, we head by vehicle to the impressive archaeological sites located just outside the city. We visit Sacsayhuamán, a ceremonial fortress known for its enormous zigzag stone walls; then continue to Qenqo, an ancient ritual site carved into rock.
We continue to Puca Pucara, a small military post and resting point, and finally visit Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s ceremonial baths, dedicated to water worship.
The tour concludes back in Cusco around 6:30 p.m., with drop-off at your hotel.
